WordPress 5.9 missing customizer

Do you want to set up a favicon for your website on WordPress 5.9+ and Oxygen Builder? No worries! Customizer is still here, but not in the admin menus anymore.

Customizer doesn’t appear because new twentytwentytwo theme uses gutenberg full site editing beta.

You have two options to open customizer:

  1. Install and activate older theme like twentytwenty and it appears again in the menus
  2. Go to this url: yoursite.com/wp-admin/customize.php and open customizer directly

I personally prefer second option but it’s completely up to you :).

That’s it. WordPress Customizer will appear as soon as you open the url in the browser.

    What do you mean “Blank theme”? Regular WP theme or you delete all your themes?
    Just curious. :-)
    Because personally I keep everytime one theme installed. My theory is that if anything happen, then the theme can handle content, at least somehow.
    What’s your opinion?

    I prefer just using a blank theme when working with Oxygen. No updates, no issues like this to worry about, and you can set your own image and description.
